Timbercoast Land 42 Tons of Coffee and Cacao in Hamburg
Hamburg, June 20, 2025 – A wave of sustainable trade has just docked in Hamburg. Friday, Peggy from the Fair Winds Collective arrived in the city to coordinate the unloading of 42 tons of coffee and cacao beans ashore —transported emission-free across the Atlantic by the AVONTUUR, Timbercoast’s majestic cargo sailing vessel. Partner of Fair Winds Collective.
Departing in January 25 from Tenerife, with stops in Nicaragua and Mexico, the AVONTUUR’s voyage wasn’t just a transport mission—it was a symbol of the future of shipping: sustainable, fair, and deeply rooted in cooperation.
This initiative showcases a powerful partnership between Timbercoast and Fair Winds Collective, uniting forces for a new kind of logistics—one that prioritizes environmental integrity, fair trade, and educational opportunity. The journey included not only precious cargo but also valuable experiences in sail training, science, and sustainable navigation.
As the beans are being offloaded into Hamburg’s harbor, the ripples of this mission spread wider: inviting others to reimagine global trade, to support community-rooted supply chains, and to take part in real climate action.
Sailed. Not Shipped. Traded. Not Traded Off.
